Big ol' roundup 1

The links are piling up in the highlights section, so I'm going to do a couple posts with shorter descriptions of multiple cool blog(athon)s.

Sodapop is blogging for Aid For AIDS of Nevada; just one of the hundred things you can learn about her is that she knows a lot about gambling addiction.

Adrith is wearing her own boots, making brownies and providing a ton of good information about organizations whose mission, like that of her chosen charity Fisher House, is to help military personnel during and/or after active service.

Maldrobe Warfunctions are writing and filming an entire movie in 24 hours, to raise money for Doctors Without Borders.

Stacy and Becca are telling some remarkable, heartwarming stories about the students at the Blue Gargoyle (that's a school for adults, not a pub!).

Jess of Spectavi is blogging for the Tibetan Nuns Project, turning one poem into 48; you have to figure out the "code" to read it.

The staff of KMRL Mojo Radio Live are blogging (and broadcasting) for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. They've got 'thon coverage, prizes, giveaways and music and if you've always wanted to be a DJ, go talk to them -- they might just have a gig for you.

Heather over at tales from a twentysomething artist is writing ficlets and drabbles -- no, I'm not going to tell you what those are, go see for yourself -- and taking requests/suggestions. Mind, there are some dark themes, so supervise the kiddies on that site, 'k? Heather's raising money for The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

There, that should keep you all happily surfing while I go find more!
