Congratulations to Baggage and Bug, who one I Will Survive with the following suggestion:

Make the house really cold by cranking up the air conditioner. When you are freezing your butt off, it is easier to stay awake.

Baggage and Bug are blogging for Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, and you can sponsor them here.

Here are some other suggestions (and yeah, I'm picking out the really good ones!)

From Jen:
My best tip for surviving the Blogathon is this: stay hydrated. Getting sick from dehydration and sleep deprivation is one of the biggest downfalls. Drinking water (not soda and not coffee) will help regulate your system and keep you from getting overtired and sick.

From Missy (who knows food!)
Eat healthy food instead of junk, even if you can only manage a few bites between posts. You'll have more energy and you won't feel sick by the time you get to go to sleep!

From Crystal:
BE ACTIVE - Participate in chats, games, comment on other blogs, return your comments, talk about the Blogathon with your family and friends.
BE OPTIMISTIC - Always keep a cheerful outlook, write happy entries, browse through your old entries and smile!
BE CREATIVE - Come up with some wacky theme and have fun with it! Create a personal goal to reach at the end of the Blogathon!

From Betty:
How to survive Blogathon '07: Interact like crazy with the other bloggers.

From Wren, I don't know if this works, but it sounds like fun!
Raid your housemate's/mothers/own makeup case and to do the most intricate tribal designs possible on your face and arms using lipstick, eyeliner, glitter, and mascara. Make sure to do your hair crazy too, perhaps with lots of tiny pigtails strewn about. Set up a fort in a dark room, and take sequences of pictures of you in the fort. Later, stage a one-person raid and to destroy the entire edifice. Posted the aftermath of the triumphant Blogathon finale!
