Congratulations to The Smarmy Carny, blogging for One Economy. You can sponsor Novac here.

Worst thing he did?
I made the mistake of reclining my chair all the way back and closing
my eyes -- in hour 23!!! I didn't fall asleep, but I had a deep
daydream and jolted up confused and disoriented. That's always a
treat.

In a similar vein, Derek writes:
Well, all night I've been sitting straight up in my chair, fan blazing keeping me nice and chilled. However, my brain decided to trick me (just like every other time I pull an all nighter) and I decide to lay down on my bed. Harmless enough, right? I was going to just lay there for a few minutes and get back up when my time came back around to blog again. Well, I was a little cold from that fan, as I mentioned, so I drew the top sheet over me, making me nice and cozy warm in comparison to what I was feeling. And only to top it all off, my cat thought "Finally! It's bed time!", so she came running in, jumped up on the bed and snuggled up at my feet after a few ear scratchings. I was almost gone forever before I realized what I was doing. I jumped out of bed, covers flying, cat ready for seemingly the world blowing up. So, moral of the story. Never even touch your bed when you're pulling an all nighter, sometimes the brain can play some mean tricks on you!

The Archivist

did a bit of starving:
The worst thing I did?

I had to begin blogging at eleven pm Eastern Australian Time, being an Aussie. I had pies about fifteen minutes before that. Didn't eat anything until... well over 18 hours later.

That was really, really dumb. Especially as I kept complaining I was hungry.

Laura says:
I don't recommend eating junk food! Sometime after I drank two sodas and had
a couple slices of pizza, my tummy hurt quite a bit! After that, I switched
over to healthy mode; and tried apples and Crystal Light instead!

Stay healthy! Stick to fruit, and Vitamin Water!

On the other hand, Jaime says:
Worst thing I did tonight, by far, was drink the Vitamin Energy drink. Yuck. It tasted nasty, and it made my stomach flip flop for most of the night! Next time, I'm sticking with water after 10pm. Caffeine isn't worth the boost if you're sick the whole time!
