The reason for the name:
Easy one. I renamed my Livejournal “Welcome to the Monkey House” (with a
subtitle of “Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt”) when Kurt
Vonnegut died earlier this year. His death hit me hard–he was probably
my first “favorite writer”; he had a way of creating worlds within our
world, and characters who were bits and pieces of all of us.
And he was smart. He just… got it. You know what I mean? He just
understood people. Us. Life. In a way not many writers get a good handle
on. His characters were always deeply flawed people, but he loved them,
and he wrote them with love.

Well a Track Bunny is a cuter name for pit lizard (racing groupie) that my friends and I came up with… bunnies are a hell of a lot cuter than a lizard. We have a website dedicated to nascar fan fiction called http://www.trackbunnies.org so I thought what the hell.. I’m the main Track Bunny so it’s called Diary of a Track Bunny. The url is Track Bunny Films because that is my “production” company for my films that I create in class (I’m a video major).

my blogathon journal is the goatening. it was a natural choice once i settled on heifer international for my charity, and it's what i call the story of a joke played on a friend involving... well, goats. a friend verbed it, then it got re-verbed and ended up as "pygmies: the goatening", which got shortened almost immediately.
