It's T minus about 30 minutes, and Cat gets up to make the donuts.

Jimmy Patterson approaches his scissor lift. Rockstar's Blogathon TV is quietly waiting. The housemates at Big Brothathon wonder who will be the first to be voted off.

Soon, the Great Attrition will start, and the number of blogs will drop as the folks who signed up and forgot are taken off the list. The field will winnow until we're left with the dedicated few (okay, the dedicated wow-that's-a-lot-of-blogs) who will stay in for 24 hours, raising money for their favorite causes. Right now, we stand at 527 blogs, $88,336.73 in pledges.
