Jimmy Patterson is nuts.

We mean that in the nicest possible way, of course. Jimmy is spending 24 hours 30 feet in the air (45 feet, if you make a $500 donation; did I mention he doesn't like heights?) on a scissor lift in the parking lot of a grocery store in Midland, TX.

He's raising money for Midland Fair Havens (from their site: "a place of refuge and restoration for single mothers as they prepare to make a better life for themselves and their children"). As I write this he's well on his way to his $5001 goal.

Oh, and he has a couple dozen business sponsors who have donated prizes you can win in games and quizzes that Jimmy is running throughout the event.
